9News visits EEP – Tax Help Colorado Commercial
EEP classrooms were honored to be selected as the site for the Piton Foundation’s Tax Help Colorado television commercial.
9News specialist, Jennifer Woodruff and her photo team, spent the afternoon at EEP recording and videotaping the commercial.
The television commercial will begin airing on Monday Feb. 4, 2013 on 9News.

EEP is featured on Telemondo’s 9News: Denver Preschool Program Interview
Early Excellence’s awesome teacher, Ms. Maria Rosario Ortiz, was interviewed by Telemundo Denver’s special video journalist, Mr. Carlos Rausseo on November 26, 2012 which aired that evening at the 5 and 10 pm hour. Ms. Ortiz shared wonderful information with Telemundo Denver on the importance of high quality education for all children and families and how the Denver Preschool Program has played a vital role in helping Denver families to leverage affordable preschool care for their children.

EEP attends the Celebrating Philanthropy in Colorado ~ Latino Community Foundation of Colorado
EEP participates in the celebration of the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado’s 5th Anniversary of Celebrating Philanthropy in Colorado. Special guests of the night included Colorado’s Lt. Governor Garcia, Ron Montoya, the LCFC board chair, and Yolanda Quesada, Director of LCFC and 200+ other special guests who helped raise funds for this special foundation. EEP is one of the many special organizations to be positively impacted by the funding contributions of the LCFC.
