Give our children a fighting chance in life
- Children receiving quality early education are more likely to graduate from high school, greatly increasing their earning potential and reducing strain on public assistance programs.
- Each dollar invested in early childhood education can generate a return as high as $14 in available public funding that would otherwise be spent on social services such as welfare.
- It costs $12,000 to educate one student for an entire year, and public funding and parent fees cover only a portion of this. Private support helps us bridge the remaining 35% gap between expenses and available funding.
- Early Excellence is a 501( c )(3) nonprofit organization, and most gifts are fully tax deductible. (We’ll send you written acknowledgment of your donation to share with your tax adviser).
How you can help
We rely on the support of our community to maintain affordable, and high-quality programs and services.
Please select the “Donate” button on the right to make a gift using our safe and secure online giving site. Your contribution gives us the support we need to continue operating successfully, and eventually expand to serve additional high-risk neighborhoods in northeast Denver. Giving online also ensures 100% of your contribution directly supports our program because GivingFirst pays for the credit card processing fees.
If you prefer, please call 303.292.0556, ext. 3, to speak with Executive Director, Jennifer Luke, about supporting an area of Early Excellence most meaningful to you.
